2012 Global Impact Celebration
"Called to be FREE!"
February 24 - 26, 2012
The 2012 Global Impact Celebration will be an exciting time to celebrate what God is doing in His world to spread the good news of Jesus. The three-day celebration will bring together 10 different missionary partners that Central Church works with beginning here locally, reaching regionally and nationally, as well as all around the world.
Mark your calendars now! Special speaker, Max Wilkins, on Friday evening (6:45 - 8:00 pm) and Sunday morning (9:00 and 11:00 am) will challenge us to see the world as God sees it - in need of the redeeming and transforming message of His Son, Jesus. There will be opportunity to meet each of our missionary partners face-to-face during our Moveable Potluck Feast on Saturday evening (5:30 - 8:30 pm).
You will have time to enjoy the friendship and fellowship of others during our Friday evening G.I.C. Kick Off Meal (5:30 - 6:30 pm) and Saturday morning G.I.C. Brunch & Skit (9:30 am). During these times you will be able to visit each of our missionary partners ministry booths to learn more about what they do. Our missionary partners this year are...
- Chris & Dora Barbee, Thailand
- John Neil, Tri-Cities Foodbank
- John & Jody Wilson, Wycliffe
- Jeremy & Joy Ellington, India
- Bob Johnson, Point Man Ministries
- Kathy Rither, Women's Jail Ministry
- Nancy Roe, Celebrate Recovery
- Carol Bush, Child Evangelism Fellowship
- Ben Durham and Casey Dephanger, Bridgetown Ministries, Portland
- Luke Hallowell, Center for Sharing
An interactive experience on Saturday morning called the Freedom Tour Experience (10:30 am - 1:45 pm) will highlight the plight of those caught in human trafficking, addiction, poverty, illiteracy and without clean water. All of this will be followed up with Life Commitment Sunday. You will be challenged and invited to participate in God's great mission by stepping out in faith to believe God will use you this next year in a greater way than ever before.
More details will be following. Stay tuned to this page, our newsletter called "The Messenger", and our bulletins and ad loops during our services. You won't want to miss this year's exciting missions experience.
