My name is Kim Fields and I am delighted that God has called me to serve as the lead pastor of Central Church. I am married to Lorraine, and together we have four children, two son-in-laws, a daughter-in-law, and four incredible grandchildren. I was born and raised on a ranch near Fairfield, Idaho, which I managed for ten years before saying “Yes” to God’s call to enter the pastoral ministry. I did my undergraduate work at Whitman College just down the road in Walla Walla and later graduated from San Francisco Theological Seminary. I am an ordained pastor in the United Methodist Church, with whom I have served both as a local church pastor and District Superintendent. I have a love for camping ministries and mission trips. I believe that God is a god of grace who welcomes everyone to the table and sends them out as disciples to transform the world. In my spare time I enjoy exploring God’s creation, reading, water color painting, and watching Boise State Football (which is a great disappointment to both my University of Washington friends and to my children who graduated from the University of Idaho).
