CHILDCARE STAFF
Central Christian Childcare employees are a diverse group of caregivers, with various educational and training backgrounds. We are committed to quality Christian childcare not just “babysitting.” We are a licensed childcare provider.
Childcare Staff provides age appropriate care at all times. All staff meet criteria that includes training in:
CPR/ First-Aid/Blood-Borne Pathogen training.
Background Check.
30 hours of Child care basics training & continuing education.
Federal Safety trainings.

Full-size gym and playroom available to our children in inclement weather.
Small rock wall.
Full-size children garden.
Art program for preschoolers.
RELIGIOUS ACTIVITIES
Central Christian Childcare is a faith based center. Lunch-time prayer is part of our daily routine. Bible time is a regularly scheduled part of the curriculum in the 2-year-olds to 5-years-old rooms. A Bible story is presented. Discussion is on the value lesson of the story. Our desire is to have the child come away with the concept that they have been wonderfully created and with an understanding of God’s love.

Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
The Childcare is closed when the Hanford site is closed. Occasionally, Central Church is closed an additional day that the area is not closed, at which time the childcare will be closed. You will be advised in advance.

Central Christian Childcare will be closed the following days:

Memorial Day
Independence Day
Labor Day
Veterans Day
Thanksgiving Day
The Day After Thanksgiving
Christmas Day, and the Day Before and/or After Christmas Day
PARENT VISITS
We have an open door policy. Please check in at the Childcare Office.
Should you wish for other members of the family to visit, we ask that you let us know who and when to expect them. We request that you take your child from the classroom for your visit.
There are several places in the building where you can nurse or just spend quiet one-on-one time with your child.
HEALTH & SAFETY
Your child’s health is a matter of major importance to all of us. Upon enrollment, we require your child to obtain and maintain up-to-date immunizations. We encourage a yearly physical check-up and would appreciate being given the date of this exam for our records.
