Pastoral Care

No one likes to ask for help or be a burden on others; yet we heal best in community with others. By allowing a Central Stephen Minister to listen to you and point you to Jesus as you go through or recover from a hard time, your pain is validated and a new, optimistic story can be written over the old one. Dealing with grief? Here are some resources.

Dealing with cancer? Here are some resources.

In dealing with a loss, it can be hard to be optimistic! The future can appear to be daunting! If you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend that tragedy can be overwhelming! We also know that there are other losses in life that create feelings of grief. You might be experiencing a job loss, a divorce, estrangement from a child, or the loss of friends because of a move or even dealing with effects of Covid-19!

You’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel.

This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.

“Going to GriefShare feels like having warm arms wrapped around you when you’re shivering.”

GriefShare groups meet weekly to help you face these challenges and move toward rebuilding your life.

Griefshare classes are held through out the year. Call us today to find out when the next class might be available.

CENTRAL CARE

MINISTRY

Central Care Ministry is exactly that – caring for others! There are times when we need a visit from a pastor or a friend. Central Care Ministry’s mission is to care for others by visiting them when they are in the hospital, in a nursing home or assisted living community or in some cases they may be home bound. The Central Care Ministry team will call, visit and pray for those in need. If you would like a visit from the Congregational Care Pastor or one of our team please call Pastor Pat.
