Pastor Aaron grew up in the Hermiston/Umatilla area saying, "we always came to the Tri-Cities to get into trouble." Consequently this area has been a big part of his home. After high school Pastor Aaron pursued a career in Law Enforcement earning an Associates in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor's in Law Enforcement before becoming a police officer.

As a part time Military Intelligence officer in the Army National Guard the Global War on Terror derailed his Law Enforcement aspiration and instead, he enjoyed two all expense trips to the Middle East, seven years teaching intelligence analysis at the U.S. Army's intelligence center, three years teaching leadership at Central Washington University's Army ROTC program, and then five years training Army National Guard officers all over the country in the Army Decision Making Process. A cumulative twenty-seven year career supporting the Army in one fashion or another.

During all of this Pastor Aaron has always had an appetite for God's Word ultimately pointing him in the direction of a seminary education. Just prior to retiring from the Army National Guard Pastor Aaron earned his Masters of Divinity from Liberty University with an emphasis on theology. His passions are God's Word, God's people, his wife Sarah, and their daughter Adelynn.
